There are many ways to load shirts onto automatic screen printing presses, and much of how an individual operator does this is based on preference or habit.
There is really no “right” or “wrong” way to load shirts. In the above video, Kieth Stevens highlights two methods of loading shirts onto pallets for automatic printers.
The first method is one that is most commonly used in the industry, with the shirts stacked on a table slightly to the back of the operator. The second — and Kieth’s preferred method — is to load the shirts from a table located to the side of the operator. The additional twist of flipping the shirt stack upside down actually increases the speed of loading the shirts.
