PolyOne Corp., Kennesaw, Ga., recently unveiled Wilflex Epic Top Score inks.
Available in a series of premixed colors, the new non-phthalate inks deliver a “big brand” look on performance athletic fabric substrates while meeting environmental and regulatory requirements.
“Printing on today’s sports and fitness textiles can be challenging on several levels,” says Scott Craig, general manager of specialty inks and polymers systems. “We developed Epic Top Score inks to meet numerous technical and regulatory challenges while improving our customers’ competitive edge and profitability.”
Epic Top Score inks are CSPIA compliant and feature a matte finish, high stretch- and bleed-resistance, accurate color reproduction, low-tack surface and low-cure properties. Additionally, the inks offer an intense color formulations that provide maximum opacity, repeatable accuracy for consistent color across all substrates, 21 premixed colors for quick supply speed and efficient packaging, according to the company.
