Lancer Group Intl., Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, manufacturers of the Excalibur and Evolution brands of textile inks, recently announced the reformulation of the Evolution2 series of PVC-free textile inks.
The series, now called the Evolution2 “N” System, will offer improved wash fastness, reduced crocking and increased inter-coat adhesion between colors, according to the company.
The Evolution2 series offers a feel similar to water-based prints with the convenience of plastisol properties, such as opacity, color consistency and the ability to keep images in screens open during a print run.
The Evolution2 “N” System consists of N6581 optical white, N6504, N6505 and N6550 mixing bases, as well as several additives that enhance both the printability and durability of all PVC-free prints made from the system.
A sample trial kit consisting of one gallon each of N6581 optical white, N6504 base, N6505 process base, N6710 defender and NC700 low-crock additive; as well as one quart each of N6501 curable reducer, N6502 viscosity reducer and N6132 thickener is available for $395.95 (list price $565.54). It includes free shipping to the continental United States and Canada.
