FULL STORYThreadfast Apparel, New York, recently hosted a party at Arch Enemy Arts gallery in Philadelphia, to recognize alphabroder’s Philadelphia inside sales team for its ongoing work supporting the Threadfast brand.
“The entire alphabroder team has been a pleasure to work with,” said Abe Anteby, president, Threadfast Apparel, during the event. “We’ve worked hard together — tonight was a great opportunity to have some fun together and celebrate our partnership.”
The three-hour event, held at a contemporary art gallery located just off Philadelphia’s historic Independence Mall, included stimulating experiences for attendees to enjoy, according to the company. Some of the interactive stations included personalized diret-to-garment (DTG) printing/instruction, on-the-spot sublimation printing and airbrushed personalized designs by GT Artland. All decoration was completed on one of Threadfast’s many popular styles.
A select few attendees received Threadfast denim jackets with custom, unique designs hand painted by an illustrator. Up-and-coming artist Brittney Rios painted jackets with designs that ranged from traditional to bizarrely amusing.
“Our team was treated to an unbelievable night out in Old City, Philadelphia, courtesy of one of our favorite vendors, Threadfast — and their host extraordinaire, Abe Anteby,” says Mark Logsdon, vice president of inside sales, alphabroder. “Great food, drink, music and fellowship were shared by all as the team learned various printing techniques and had the opportunity to design their own garments to take home.”
ITNH Inc., which traveled 350 miles south from Manchester, N.H., partnered with Threadfast Apparel for DTG and sublimation decoration, and attendees learned the printing process from start to finish. Tim Dinneen, ITNH’s business development manager, was on hand to demonstrate and instruct the processes.
“Modern comfortable clothing is in demand and short-run, multicolor decoration with the latest in digital direct-to-garment printing is quickly becoming the norm,” Dinneen says. “It’s no surprise that ITNH’s initial collaboration with Threadfast Apparel in the heart of Old City was a great success. Being able to educate people on digital DTG decoration techniques on apparel that consumers are embracing today — soft, comfortable tri-blends and pigment-dyed shirts — proved to be a win-win for everyone.” — J.L.
