FULL STORYTeamwork Athletic, San Marcos, Calif., has launched fresh and unique Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA) designs in a new collection for the current baseball season.
Released on March 26, the MLBPA Travel Series consists of fanwear and lifestyle clothing. The designs are inspired by a vintage travel poster, displaying bright colors and head-turning images that are fully sublimated into the fabric, according to the company.
Each design highlights an original action shot of players superimposed on a vivid backdrop of the city each team represents. Made for women and men of all ages, the line features essential styles from the company’s original MLBPA collection and consists of hoodies, long-sleeve shirts, tank tops and T-shirts.
“The idea behind the MLBPA Travel Series was to create a collection inspired by multiple pieces of Americana,” explains Teamwork’s Creative Manager Kelland Osborn. “Travel posters, propaganda art and baseball all come together to create designs that show off [wearers’] civic and team pride.” — D.S.
