SPSI, Maple Grove, Minn., and two other industry suppliers recently collaborated to collect more than $800 for the Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth, located in Fort Worth, Texas.
Proceeds were collected during the 2016 Imprinted Sportswear Shows event in Fort Worth. SPSI requested a donation when attendees got pictures taken with the Fruit of the Loom guys. Those donating $10 received a unique T-shirt with their picture on a Fruit of the Loom HD T-shirt. Pictures were printed on the Kornit Storm Hexa direct-to-garment printer.
The Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth provides a supportive, home away from home for families of children receiving medical treatment at area hospitals.
“The Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth provides a compassionate and comforting sanctuary for critically ill children and families facing the unimaginable and we just wanted to do something to help with their efforts,” says Tom Codute, CEO, SPSI. “With industry partners Fruit of the Loom and Kornit Digital, we were able to put together a fun event.” — J.L.
