Next Level to Open Alabama Distribution Center

October 6, 2016

Next Level Apparel, Gardena, Calif., plans to add about 100 employees to its new distribution center in Ashford, Ala., according to the Dothan Eagle.

The distribution center is expected to be fully operational this month, and has inventory in two of the three major storage areas in the building. Ashford City Clerk Amy Brunson lauded the move.

“Next Level Apparel is bringing lots of jobs to the Ashford area,” she says. “We hope that brings more traffic through the Ashford area, as well, which will hopefully bring us more businesses.”

The process of bringing Next Level Apparel to Ashford was a collaborative effort that included Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley and Ashford Mayor Jonathan Grecu.

“Through tremendous support from the Alabama Department of Commerce, the Alabama Industrial Development Training, the city of Ashford, Houston County, the city of Dothan, the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce’s Grow Dothan, the local legislative delegation and the Houston County Industrial Development Authority, these entities have worked closely with Next Level Apparel to meet our needs in order to support the company’s continued growth in serving our customer base,” says Eyon Ron, chief operating officer, Next Level Apparel. “Their team approach and collaboration were outstanding in serving our needs, and we are overwhelmed with the support received in all aspects of our project development.” — M.Q.
