A4 Goes Green with Recycled Polyester
A4, manufacturer of premium sportswear and team uniforms, is now making all its most popular apparel, and the vast majority of its line, with recycled polyester.
FULL STORYInsta Graphic Systems, Cerritos, Calif., recently won two gold awards at the Golden Image competition at the 2017 Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) Expo, which was held in New Orleans.
Insta won its awards in Category 15: Heat Transfers (Textile). In Subgroup A: True Process Color Entries, Insta won for its submission titled “Imperfect World 89-17.” In Subgroup D: Digital Entries, the company won for its submission titled “Kobe.”
“I am so proud of Insta’s team” says Janet Wells, president of Insta Graphic Systems. “We competed against the best and we came out first place. That’s quite an accomplishment.”
This marks Insta’s 7th and 8th gold medal in SGIA’s Golden Image competition. More than 60 companies from around the world entered, submitting nearly 300 entries in 53 product categories.
“Winning two Gold Golden Image Awards for the Heat Transfer category puts Insta Graphic Systems among the top specialty printers in the world in terms of quality and capability,” says Johnny Shell, vice president of technical services, SGIA. “The ability to consistently print such high-quality products indicates that Insta Graphic Systems is an expert at controlling the many variables involved in specialty printing.” — J.L.
