InkSoft Acquires Digital Art Solutions

InkSoft, Tempe, Ariz., has acquired Digital Art Solutions (DAS), Tempe, Ariz., in a deal that will offer more tools for screen printers, apparel decorators and print entrepreneurs.

The acquisition was finalized June 3.

“InkSoft’s purpose is to revolutionize the way print entrepreneurs do business, and this relationship will continue to make things easier for our industry,” says Scott Allen, InkSoft’s president. “We’re solving real-world challenges and expanding our solutions to include the best and most respected art-management system. It just makes a lot of sense.”

Craig Mertens, general manager of DAS, will continue his role and manage the company’s operations.


“InkSoft and Digital Art Solutions are a perfect fit,” Mertens says. “We will expand our reach and bring our graphics system to a larger audience. Together, InkSoft and DAS will provide a total solution for both sales and production.”

InkSoft and DAS will pave the way for a true all-in-one solution for printers looking to increase sales and become more efficient, according to the companies. Both companies will be managed from a centralized headquarters in Tempe, while maintaining their respective brands. — D.S.
