The results for the 2018 Impressions Awards are in! For months, decorators of all sizes and experience levels submitted their entries for the 40th annual Impressions Awards, the industry’s most prestigious apparel-decorating contest. The 2018 competition was judged at the Fort Worth Imprinted Sportswear Show (ISS), which was held Sept. 27-29 at the Fort Worth Convention Center in Fort Worth, Texas.

The Impressions staff would like to thank the following judges who once again evaluated this year’s entries: Lee Caroselli-Barnes, Balboa Threadworks; Liz Beavers, GSG; Dane Clement, Great Dane Graphics; Scott Stengel, Melco; Alan Howe, Saati; Deborah Jones, myembroiderymentor.com; Charlie Taublieb, Taublieb Consulting; and Mark Suhadolnik, GSG.

The winners are as follows:

The overall Grand Champion Award was given to “Tomb of Terror #15,” which was submitted by Allabout Digitizing & Design, Pfafftown, N.C. That entry also was awarded the distinction of Grand Champion of Embroidery. The Grand Champion of Screen Printing was awarded to “Exposure Lighthouse,” submitted by Mojo Art & Image.
