The results for the 2016 Impressions Awards are in! For months, decorators of all sizes and experience levels submitted their entries for the 38th annual Impressions Awards, the industry’s most prestigious apparel decorating contest. 

The 2016 competition was judged at the Fort Worth Imprinted Sportswear Show (ISS), which was held Oct. 6-8 at the Fort Worth Convention Center in Fort Worth, Texas.

The Impressions staff would like to thank the following judges who once again evaluated this year’s entries: Lee Caroselli-Barnes, Balboa Threadworks; Richard Bloedow, GS USA; Dane Clement, Great Dane Graphics; Bill Gavin, BG Tech Services; Alan Howe, Saati; Deborah Hurd, myembroiderymentor.com; Charlie Taublieb, Taublieb Consulting; and Mark Suhaldonik, GSG.




The winners are as follows:

The overall Grand Champion Award was given to “BMBX Mary,” which was submitted by BMS Graphics, Bandung, Indonesia. That entry also was awarded the distinction of Grand Champion of Screen Printing. The Grand Champion of Embroidery was awarded to “Frantic Frog,” submitted by Stitch’d Embroidery Development, Pasadena, Calif.
