Augusta Sportswear Brands and Founder Sport Group have announced their combined company’s new corporate identity, Momentec Brands.
FULL STORYHanesBrands Inc., Winston-Salem, N.C., has named Barry A. Hytinen as chief financial officer (CFO), effective Oct. 16.
The 42-year-old Hytinen previously served as CFO for Tempur Sealy Intl. He replaces former Hanesbrands CFO Richard Moss, who will remain in an advisory capacity until he retires at the end of this year.
Hytinen brings to HanesBrands nearly 20 years of finance experience, including oversight of mergers and acquisitions, capital structure, global strategy and tax structure, corporate development and investor relations.
“Barry is a talented and accomplished finance officer and corporate strategist who brings a honed skill set that matches the needs of our expanding global enterprise,” says Gerald W. Evans Jr., CEO, HanesBrands. “Barry has significant experience in domestic and international acquisitions, global tax and supply-chain structure, margin enhancement and cash generation.”
Before joining Tempur Sealy, Hytinen served as CFO of Fogbreak Software, a venture-backed software company. Prior to that, he served in finance and corporate-development positions with Vignette and General Electric Co. — J.L.
