GSG Announces Promotions, New Hire
Van George, GSG’s new sign segment manager.
GSG, Dallas, has announced multiple staff changes, including promotions and a new hire.
Van George has been promoted to sign segment manager. George has worked with GSG for more than 14 years, most recently as an outside sales manager.
“[I’m] truly excited and humbled to lead our sign sales team at GSG,” George says. “In my 14 years with the company we have seen tremendous growth within the sign industry and I look forward to continuing our growth and expanding our footprint.”
With the addition of two new branches supplying sign and large-format customers, GSG’s growth demands George’s experience, according to the company.
In another move, Matt Smith, formerly the sign segment manager, has been promoted to director of national accounts. Smith has spent many years building a sign sales team and will be using his experience and expertise to support large and national sign companies.
Also, Erika Jasso has been hired as a marketing assistant who will assume the responsibility of managing customer events and GSG U classes. A Dallas native, Jasso recently received her master’s degree in mass communications from Texas State University.
“I ultimately chose GSG because of the strong emphasis on its company values, iCARE!, as well as the importance of industry innovation and growth,” he says. — J.L.
