Alternative Apparel, Atlanta, is debuting an Americana Collection, composed of red-white-and-blue iconic pieces to inspire customers to show their true colors in the coming summer weeks.
“Our Americana Collection is the perfect apparel for any Fun [Independence Day] celebration,” says Kevin Miles, director of sales operations for Alternative Apparel. “And beyond our favorite star-studded holiday, the vintage look of these styles is classic and timeless. The elevated Stars & Stripes prints create neutral design elements as a backdrop for embellishment.”
In addition to national holidays and local celebrations, prints featuring stars and stripes are favored as music merchandise with bands and festivals, as well as restaurants and bars, according to the company. Featured styles in the Americana Collection include a baseball printed sleeve eco-jersey T-shirt, ringer vintage jersey cami tank top and maniac printed eco-fleece sweat shirt.
The baseball printed sleeve eco-jersey tee is made of 50% polyester/38% cotton/12%rayon and contains organic and recycled materials. It features contrast 3/4 sleeves, a slight shirttail hemline and merrow stitching detail.
The ringer vintage jersey cami tank top is made of 4.4-ounce, 50% cotton/50% polyester vintage jersey. It features contrast-rib binding at the neck, strap and armholes, as well as a tearaway tag.
The maniac printed eco-fleece sweat shirt is made of super-soft eco-fleece in a 50% polyester/46% cotton/4% rayon blend. It contains organic and recycled materials and features an off-the-shoulder neckline and kangaroo pocket. — J.L.
