Arthur Verwey, senior product marketing manager, specialty printer business unit of OKI Data Americas Inc., noted that this year’s conference attracted not only U.S. supporters but even textile enthusiasts who traveled from as far South America to attend the national event.
Verwey and his team spent both days following up with existing customers and exploring opportunities with AlphaGraphics locations that have not yet invested in OKI’s digital-transfer print solutions – but are ready to add CMY + White to their product portfolios, according to the company.
“Customers and franchisees enjoyed the live demonstrations and samples that were printed on various garments and apparel,” Verwey says.
“The OKI pro8432WT provides a digital-transfer print solution that has gained the reputation of ‘best-in-class’ given its price point and performance,” he adds. “The pro8432WT offers CMY + White or CMYK toner for the most vibrant-colored transfers ever. These transfers can be used on light or dark garments, using 100% cotton to 100% polyester (and everything in between) with virtually no limitations.”
With OKI’s pro8432WT digital transfer printer, AlphaGraphics franchisees can add this technology to their printer fleet and immediately start producing personalized clothing, mugs, cell phone covers, tiles – virtually any durable, hard good that can be imaged, he says
OKI also highlighted the pro942DP+ digital printer, which can print CMYK and white all in one pass on any size envelope and media up to 13″ x 52″. The 942DP+ five-color digital printer accommodates six- or eight-panel brochures, or exceptionally long banners. — D.S.
