Mutoh America, Phoenix, recently announced the launch of the ValueJet 1948WX, a 75-inch four-head printer made for high-production dye-sublimation printing.
It prints at 1,440 dpi with four staggered print heads featuring print speeds up to 2,199 square feet per hour. Dual heaters enable fast dry times and accelerated production speeds, according to the company. Pressure rollers can be raised or lowered, depending on material type, to remove wrinkles and the printer has four- and eight-color capability.
In addition, the ValueJet 1948WX cuts off material once the print is finished. Its Intelligent Interweave printing technique virtually eliminates banding, according to the company, and the ValueJet Status Monitor app enables mobile monitoring. The printer features a limited one-year warranty.
The ValueJet 1948WX is now available through authorized Mutoh resellers across North and Latin America. — J.L.
