FULL STORYInsta Graphic Systems, Cerritos, Calif., was awarded the 2016 Product of the Year Partner Award for its Insta 256 heat press at the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) Expo, recently held in Las Vegas.
Along with Epson, Insta won the award in the Roll-to-Roll Dye Sublimation on Metal for Heat Press Manufacturer category.
“This is an important recognition for Insta,” says Cris Saunders, director of sales and marketing for Insta. “We are overwhelmed by the positive feedback we have received from our partner, Epson, and our customers.”
This is the second consecutive year the company has won the award in this category. Last year, its model 828 automatic heat press garnered the honor.
The model 256 heat press features even and heavy-duty heat and pressure distribution, and cast-aluminum assembly. Its quick-change feature makes it easier to apply transfers onto pockets, sleeves or pant legs, according to the company. Also, its swing-away upper platen allows unobstructed access to the lower platen for garment loading. — J.L.
