Insta Graphic Systems, Cerritos, Calif., recently announced that its Model 828 automatic swing-away heat press was named one of SGIA’s 2015 Product of the Year “partner” award winners.
The heat press was used to make the winning transfer, completed by Sawgrass, in the Roll-to-Roll Dye Sublimation on Metal category.
The annual competition honors equipment and supplies that are advancing the specialty imaging industry.
With its 20″ x 25″ platens, the Model 828 is one of Insta Graphic Systems’ largest machines. It frequently is used in the sublimation market because of its oversized platens and ability to generate even temperature and pressure, according to the company.
