FULL STORYInkSoft, Albuquerque, N.M., recently introduced a new web store management system that provides enhanced editing capabilities using a visual approach for easy, user friendly access.
The new system focuses on simplifying and streamlining store customization. The navigation bar provides fast access to the admin portal, as well as to any stores created by the user. Once a store is selected, a new editing mode lets users choose styles and settings.
Users also can choose background colors from those recently used, make a custom color, upload a store logo and add branding colors. Accent and button colors, and font sizes for headings and body text also can be selected. Choices are previewed immediately without the need for refreshing.
InkSoft’s new web store approach also has switched from store themes to a component system for even greater flexibility. This provides the ability to edit, add, remove or change the order in which elements are displayed.
Another feature is a new, continually expanding component library that lets users make choices from groupings such as social media, products, maps and other functionalities, and provides options for customizing them to meet their needs. Additionally, any individual store setting, such as production schedules, shipping, etc., can be changed from the management module. — J.L.
