Brother Enters Wide-Format Latex Segment with Latest Launch
Bridgewater, New Jersey—Brother International Corporation will be entering the signage market with the all-new WF1-L640 64-inch latex wide-format printer.
FULL STORYImprintables Warehouse, Masontown, Pa., has added the ability for customers to choose Spectra Pattern material colors and patterns online.
The heat-transfer, cut-only material is available in a choice of preprinted designs ranging from animal prints to tie-dye, camouflage, and geometric shapes among others. The customization option makes it possible to create a design with a school, organization or corporation’s specific colors. Customers also can create their own patterns, and through emailing customer service, submit these for manufacturing. A minimum of one yard is required.
Spectra can be applied to any color garment made of 100% cotton, 100% polyester or a cotton/poly blend by preheating the fabric, applying the transfer material for 15 seconds at 320˚F using medium pressure, and peeling warm.
A static-cling carrier makes for easier weeding, according to the company. It comes in a 20-inch width and is sold in 1-, 5-, and 10-yard rolls. With 69 patterns now available, customers can customize garments with looks for numerous markets, including cheer, dance, fashion and collegiate. — M.Q.
