FULL STORYi-Group Technologies, New Philadelphia, Ohio, has released the Viper XPT-1000 Touchscreen, its newest pretreatment machine.
The new Viper machine adds versatility and speed to the direct-to-garment (DTG) pretreatment process. It eliminates drawers, which saves time, according to the company.
Also, the open spray area allows for large, bulky items to be loaded easily. It’s innovative design results in no overspray, which reduces the amount of wasted pretreatment during the process, according to the company. The single Viper spray nozzle is completely adjustable, allowing for any spray width and position on a garment. It can spray up to a 20” x 24” area.
The machine also features a removable platen, and touchscreen controls make for fast, easy spray-length settings and precise increments in the amount of pretreatment applied.
The completely electric unit can be easily loaded with pretreatment solution and flushed with water. The machine is available for $4,495. — J.L.
