Heat Transfer Warehouse, Fargo, N.D., has introduced four new colors and patterns of Deco-Film Soft Metallics 20-inch material.
With the addition of pink, purple, copper and burnt orange, there now are 18 Deco-Film Soft Metallics colors available. Additionally, users can achieve similar pattern looks to that of the industry-popular heat-transfer foils. Rainbow Round, Rainbow Multi, Rainbow Oil and Pink Splash are available now, and the company plans to add more patterns in the near future.
Deco-Film Soft Metallics provide a smooth finish with stretchability and durability, according to the company. This material can be layered, and easily cut and weeded using all styles of plotters. It can be applied to cotton, uncoated polyester, and polyester/acrylic and other fabric blends. It should be applied at 302°F-320°F for seven to eight seconds using medium pressure, and the liner should be peeled warm. Users then can re-press it for 3-5 seconds to reveal even greater metallic shine, according to the company. — J.L.
