Equipment Zone to Host DTG Academy
Equipment Zone, Franklin Lakes, N.J., will host the inaugural DTG Academy on June 2-3.
The two-day event, a complete direct-to-garment (DTG) printing business course, will be held at the company’s all-new training center in Franklin Lakes.
The DTG Academy was designed to be both a classroom and hands-on learning experience, according to the company. It offers information on the following: the DTG printing process; pretreatment; printing techniques on light and dark garments; basic machine maintenance; atwork preparation and design strategies; building a profitable niche; and marketing.
The DTG Academy will be hosted by industry veteran Terry Combs. Other popular industry trainers and presenters include Jay Busselle, Dane Clement and Matt Rhome. Equipment Zone’s technical staff also will be available. The DTG printers for this event will be provided by Epson; however, the information and experiences will be applicable to any DTG printer.
The DTG Academy costs $395 for the first attendee and $195 for each additional attendee from the same company. Lunch will be provided both days.
