Grown-Up Fashion Drives Kidswear and Teen Trends

Today's kidswear blanks, as well as those for teens and tweens, provide an ideal convas for wearers who crave increasingly mature and edgy apparel. July 19, 2010

Consistent with trends of the recent past, today's kids are sporting apparel styles and fashions that are more seemingly progressive and mature than their collective ages.

Gone are the days of "cutesy" basics composed of standard cotton fabrications that feature a nickname or image of their parents' favorite animal.

Today's kids - and even teens and tweens - are decked out in apparel featuring bold, trendy styling and complex, blended fabrications to match. Kidswear has increasingly pushed the envelope, with burnout, vintage and thermal stylings becoming common offerings from many industry suppliers. Moreover, it doesn't matter if you're talking about sundresses or infant onesies; the trend can be applied to any apparel piece.

The same can be said for apparel targeted to teens and tweens.
