Workhorse Products Releases Free Curing Video

Workhorse Products, Phoenix, recently released a 10-minute instructional video that discusses the ins and outs of curing garments.

The demonstration is done on an infrared dryer, but the information applies to any dryer type, according to the company. Ink has to reach a certain temperature to fully cure so it will not rub or wash off later. In the video, a laser temperature gun is used to read the temperature of the ink's surface and let printers know if it's in range.

The video demonstrates how and where the gun must be used to be accurate, and why exact positioning is important for a correct reading. It also includes the different ways temperature can be raised and lowered based on the readings received, according to the company.

Finally, the video addresses the differences between light and dark shirts and how these temperatures will vary.
