Vastex Offers New Videos on DiGit Numbering SystemMarch 12, 2010Vastex Screen Printing Equipment, Allentown, Pa., recently released two new videos that demonstrate the DiGit, a universal numbering system that makes it easy to screen print numbers on team uniforms, according to the company. One video starts with a demonstration of how to use the DiGit. In it, two-digit numbers are printed onto a sports jersey. Also in the video, Vastex owner Mike Vasilantone explains features and benefits of the numbering system, including the fact that the attachment and screen combine to weigh 26 pounds, which is accomplished by splitting up the number screens into 1-5 and 6-0. Vasilantone also demonstrates how quickly the attachment can be mounted onto any rear-clamping manual press and how the numbering screen is then mounted onto the attachment. The second video shows how two-color numbers, up to 12 inches, can be printed. The video starts with a four-head manual press and shows each of the four attachments being mounted. Vasilantone then demonstrates the printing of a two-color number. For more information, visit vastex.com. — J.L. RECENT HEADLINES
