TSC Apparel Announces 'Wildcard Advantage,' Poker Winners

TSC Apparel, Cincinnati, recently announced Mark Monteleone and Harold Dunn, Image Works (Florida), as the winners of its Wildcard Advantage promotion and Texas Hold 'Em Tournament.

Last year, TSC and mill sponsors, Anvil and Gildan sent 10 winners and their guests on a trip to the 2010 PPAI Las Vegas show where they participated in the TSC Texas Hold ‘Em No Limit Poker Tournament.

All players earned entries to win the Vegas trip giveaway by purchasing the featured wildcard products from Anvil and Gildan in 2009. The more products purchased, the more chances the customer had to win. TSC Apparel then randomly selected a winner each month, from February to November, who received a package for two to the January 2010 PPAI show in Las Vegas, including airfare and three night’s hotel accommodations, as well as an opportunity to play in the TSC Texas Hold ‘Em No Limit Poker Game.

On Jan. 14, TSC Apparel held the event in the Mandalay Bay Casino poker room. Guests, TSC staff and mill partners looked on while the players battled it out to claim the grand prize of $10,000. Monteleone, a guest of Dunn's, walked away victorious. Image Works was the September TSC Wildcard Advantage winner, having purchased enough Gildan fleece to qualify for five entries in the drawing to win the trip.

Following the tournament, Monteleone and Dunn said they would split the $10,000 winnings, and also donate a portion toward the efforts to overcome the recent tragedies faced in Haiti.
