Standard Coating Introduces Direct-to-Garment InkApril 12, 2010
"It was natural for Standard to move into the inkjet area," says Richard Labov, president, Standard Coating Corp. "We have been making automotive, military, aerospace/electronic and industrial coatings and inks since 1937, and with our ink-making background, we felt the T-shirt business was ready for a newer and better ink." The company's new division, T-Print Products, offers a complete line of inkjet ink that works in any Epson-based direct-to-garment printer. The line includes a non-settling bright white, as well as cyan, magenta, yellow, black, light magenta, light cyan and light black colors. The inks are available in all sizes, ranging from 4-ounce bottles to 5-gallon containers. The products can be purchased direct from T-Print Products, or from a global dealer network. The company also offers a heavy-duty head-cleaning fluid called Night Cap, as well as trial starter kits to enable printers to easily evaluate the T-Print's ink.
