Sawgrass Introduces Windows 7 Software Solutions

January 14, 2010

Sawgrass Technologies, Charleston, S.C., has launched Windows 7 versions of its ChromaBlast and PowerDriver IQ software solutions for the Ricoh GelSprinter GX7000 printer.

In addition to testing to ensure these software solutions were fully compatible with the new Windows 7, Sawgrass also upgraded the drivers to make them compatible with Windows Vista 64-bit operating systems, according to the company.

The Ricoh GelSprinter GX7000 features new printhead technology that produces full-color images with speed, detail and energy efficiency. The four-color ink configuration is available in 60 ml color cartridges and 68 ml cartridges for black. It has a printing area up to 11" x 17".

ChromaBlast is an ink and media combination driven by powerful print software. The SubliJet-R system is powered by PowerDriver R software for the Ricoh GX7000 for color management and spot-on color matching. SubliJet-R for the Ricoh GX7000 provides for sublimation onto a range of products, from polyester and ceramics, to metal and plastic.
