Performance Screen Supply, Manalapan, N.J., has launched BuyARip.com, a Web site dedicated to helping users choose and buy equipment and supplies for creating film positives for a screen printing operation.

The Web site offers brand-name printers, RIP software, ink and film, along with package deals that will help screen printers save money, according to the company. Brands offered include Epson, All Black Ink, AccuRIP, AccuFast Film and Spot Process. The site also includes periodic specials, which offer opportunities for savings on staple screen printing shop supplies.
 
In addition to a comprehensive selection of products, BuyARip.com also offers training videos on how to print film positives and print separations, downloadable pdfs, material safety data sheets and articles to help even the newest user understand what is needed and how to use it, according to the company.

A free trial is available for two software programs, AccuRIP and Spot Process/VueRite. AccuRIP, which is designed for printing direct-to-film positives for Epson printers, features a 14-day trial offer. Spot Process, tonal image color separation software, comes with a 30-day trial offer.
