Panda Apparel Launches Line of Neon T-shirts

Panda Apparel, Cranford, N.J., is "filling a market gap for screen printers and apparel decorators" with the launch of a new line of bright, neon-colored T-shirts and tanks for men, women and children, according to the company.

"As a retailer and screen printer with a specialty in neon shirts, we saw a gap in the market for blank neon garments," says Scott Marino, president, Panda Apparel. "We had screen printers calling us from our retail site looking for blanks, including men's tanks, women's styling and youth sizes."

Panda Apparel's new T-shirt line consists of 100% cotton T-shirts that are garment-dyed in the United States with true neon pigments, such as green, orange, pink, yellow and blue.

"There are bright shirts, and then there are true pigment-dyed neons," says Donna Marino, co-owner, Panda Apparel. "We offer real neon [T-shirts], just like in the '80s."

To service wholesale customers, Panda Apparel has launched a new Web site: NeonTees.com. It offers around-the-clock ordering, real-time inventory, order tracking, decorating tips and more. Wholesale direct pricing is limited to screen printers, other decorators and resellers, according to the company.
