Mind's Eye Graphics to Host ShopWorks Training EventJanuary 29, 2010Mind's Eye Graphics, Decatur, Ind., will host a ShopWorks POWERuser Meeting Feb. 4-6 to help users and qualified prospects learn the capabilities of ShopWorks OnSite 7. The event will include advanced training on ShopWorks' newest program, OnSite 7.1, which is designed to assist decorated apparel companies in managing all financial aspects of their business, as well as production management and marketing. Attendees also will be able to network with other users and see OnSite in action in a real shop environment. Four free bonus workshops also are included, three of which will be taught by Greg Kitson, president, Mind's Eye Graphics, a 30-year veteran of the decorated apparel industry and regular speaker at the Imprinted Sportswear Shows. Kitson's sessions will include "Direct -to-Garment Printing Integration in a Screen Print Shop," "DTG Pricing and Breakover Analysis" and "The Real Truth About Dip Tank Screen Reclaim." The other workshop, "One Hit White Ink on Dark Fabric Printing," will be led by Joe Clark, a veteran screen printer and educator with more than 40 years of experience in the industry. Mind’s Eye Graphics, which has been using OnSite for 10 years, had dedicated training areas attached to the shop with WiFi access. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own laptops with their copy of ShopWorks to maximize each session, according to the company. Registration is $795 for one session and $725 for multiple sessions. This event is limited to 24 spots, so prospective attendees are encouraged to register early to ensure a place.
